Emphasis on delivering business value through learning design
Wide Learning, the leading supplier of learning solutions to the global financial and corporate market, announced today that it has appointed Dr Darren Richards as Principal Learning Designer. Following recent news of its latest round of funding, the company again turns its attention to delivering client-focused learning solutions that provide measurable business results.
Dr Darren Richards brings a wealth of academic knowledge gained during his career with the University of Cambridge, coupled with an outstanding track record building solutions for HSBC, NatWest Markets (now Royal Bank of Scotland), Salomon Smith Barney and Citicorp.
After joining Wide Learning earlier this year, Darren has already streamlined and maximised the flexibility of the company’s production practices. As Principal Learning Designer, Darren’s motivation now is to create a top-to-bottom client-driven organisation, meeting their business needs with the best in learning design, focusing on the finance and compliance sectors. Most recently, he has overseen the development of an innovative blend of e-learning and classroom solutions for major new clients in the US and Middle East.
